Where are the wedding ceremony and reception taking place?

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be held at V. Sattui Winery (1111 White Ln, St Helena, CA 94574). The ceremony will be held on the tower lawn and the reception will be inside the barrel room.

For those not familiar with the area, St. Helena is part of Napa County and approximately 20-30 minutes from the city of Napa.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive promptly at 6:00 pm.

What is the schedule of events?

Welcome drinks begin at 6pm. Following the ceremony, we will be hosting a cocktail hour on the vineyard lawn with drinks and passed hor d'oeuvres. Around 8 pm, we will move inside for dinner and dancing. The wedding ends at 11pm and the shuttles will head back to the hotel.

What is the dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is black tie. Since our ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on the lawn, we recommend avoiding stiletto heels and wearing block heels instead so that you don’t sink in the grass.

What is black tie attire?

Black-tie attire is a dress code reserved for formal evening events. Guests commonly choose floor-length gowns and suits or tuxedos when attending a black-tie event. Your dress/suit/tuxedo may be any color except for white or off-white. You are not required to wear only black.

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

The bridesmaids will be wearing long black dresses.

What weather can I expect?

St. Helena typically sees highs around 85-90 degrees and lows around 60 degrees. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held during sunset so it will likely be warm out. The reception will be held indoors.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

We will provide a shuttle for guests to get to and from the venue. The shuttle will pick up and drop off guests at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in American Canyon where our room block is. The shuttle will depart at 5:30pm.

If you prefer to drive, there is ample parking for guests.

Unfortunately Lyft, Uber, and taxis are not common in the area so we don’t recommend relying on a ride service. Please stay safe and carpool with a designated driver if you plan to drink and not take the shuttle.

Can I bring my kids?

Please make it a date night! Our wedding is for adults only.

Can I bring a plus one?

If you have been given a plus one, it will be indicated on the RSVP form. If you have questions about this, please reach out to either the bride or the groom.

Do you have a hotel room block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

We have a room block at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in American Canyon from September 23-25. The hotel is 26 miles (30-45 min) from V. Sattui Winery. The room rate is $270/night. To book, please call (707) 674-2560 and reference the Lam-Cervera wedding.

If you prefer to stay elsewhere, please note that September is a very popular time of year to visit Napa. We recommend booking a hotel or Air BnB/Vrbo in advance so that you have many options to choose from. Nearby cities include St. Helena, Napa, Calistoga, and American Canyon.

What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Guests are encouraged to be fully vaccinated. We will continue to monitor the situation with COVID-19 and update guests on our health and safety measures as needed. If you are sick, we ask you to not come to the wedding. Please reach out to the bride and groom if needed.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #JessHitstheJakepot so we can see them, too!
